Alongside companies like Canva, Adobe, Spotify, and American Express, Designit has received an honourable mention on Fast Company’s sixth annual Best Workplaces for Innovators list.

Fast Company’s ‘Best Workplaces for Innovators’ celebrates company cultures that empower employees at all levels to improve processes, create new products, or invent new ways of doing business.

Designit’s dedication to creating a forward-thinking environment where ideas can emerge from any corner led to the creation of the Do No Harm framework, initiated by two of our strategists, Pardis Shafafi and Giulia Bazoli. This groundbreaking ethical design framework emerged from their work on a sensitive social impact project, which highlighted the need for greater accountability and ethical considerations in design.

Instead of merely focusing on innovation for innovation’s sake, Pardis and Giulia helped shift the narrative towards responsible design practices, demonstrating that innovation at Designit is not only about creating but about creating responsibly. The Do No Harm framework has since become a core element of Designit's strategic objectives, proving that impactful innovation can start from the grassroots level.

Our award-winning culture of innovation is further fueled by significant investments in programmes like the AI Residency and AI Task Force. These initiatives, supported by Wipro's $1 billion investment in AI development, encourage exploration and learning across all levels of the organisation. Our AI Residency enables junior and mid-level practitioners to contribute to groundbreaking AI research, resulting in practical deliverables like speculative future prototypes and an AI ethics framework, which are integrated into client work.

This dedication to nurturing creativity and technological advancement is a hallmark of Designit’s innovation culture, illustrating why we stand out as a leader in both ethical design and forward-thinking technology. Our approach empowers every team member to contribute to a thriving culture of innovation, helping us drive meaningful impact for people, the planet, and society.
