With an audience that covered all areas in healthcare, the breakfast seminar aimed to provide an insight into the development and integration of mobile applications and social media in healthcare systems.
Designit has a good history with apps, and a well-established presence in the healthcare world, so when MediLink approached us with their event focusing on apps in the healthcare world, we were only too pleased to help, and to share the knowledge we’ve gathered over the years.
MediLink is a UK based business that provides a range of specialist consultancy services based around technology transfer and market access, to address the needs of organisations across the Healthcare Technology sector, primarily in the UK, but also on an international level.
The Mobile Apps in Healthcare Technologies event was aimed at those involved in the development of new products or services for either patient use or patient care, including assistive technology, point-of-care diagnostics, drug delivery, patient monitoring, post operative rehabilitation etc., and the presentation delivered by Mikal Hallstrup, Co-founder and Chief Visionary Office, and the workshop facilitated by Jim Dawton, Partner at Designit London, reflected this.
Mobile apps are a major part of our every day lives, but are equally important in terms of healthcare. Just how important, and how these apps function and the effects they have, were discussed by Mikal, and later highlighted in the workshop.
For an overview, check out the presentation below, and to hear more, give Jim or Mikal a call.
