Making mobile banking personal

Today, Sydbank launch their highly customisable banking app, setting new standards for personalisation.

Sydbank, one of the larger banks owning Bankdata and Denmark’s fourth largest bank, are (along with the other banks from Bankdata) also launching their very own Sydbank mobile banking app.

Sydbank had specific ideas about how their banking app should be, and as a result, decided not to use the quite the same generic platform that the other banks of Bankdata were to use. While the functions would be the same, their app was to be unique to each and every user. The app can be almost completely personalised; from background image (choose an image from the gallery or take your own), colour theme, welcome message and a personalised start screen.

Their priority for the app was that it was personal, and focused on their customers’ needs and wants. We were able to integrate this focus on people and customers so successfully into the app that each customer is effectively able to create their own individual banking app.
