We were lucky enough to have Mac Funamizu drop by our Madrid office for a Jam Session, where we discussed methods, ideas, and of course, design.
Mac Funamizu recently started on his European tour, which was delayed due to the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan. He left Japan on the 14th of April and has stops planned in Italy, Germany, France, Portugal, and Amsterdam, and also dropped by our Madrid office for an inspirational sesion.
Mac is a very interesting freelance designer who focuses on concept design and also works with industrial design, iPhone and iPad design, graphic and web design. His portfolio is impressive, to say the least, and his designs have been seen on Gizmodo, Fast Company, and the National Geographic Channel to name but a few.
In 2009 he won a red dot design award for his Future of Internet Search: Mobile Version. Suffice tos ay, Mac is one heck of a guy, and we were thrilled to be able to meet him, and be inspired from his ideas, his ways of working, and his visions.
