Using our thorough knowledge of service design within healthcare, Designit will promote service design, and the importance of service design thinking, services, and user needs in hospital design.
Having worked with service design in hospitals a number of times, challenging the thought patterns of chief surgeons; improving services for pregnant women in hospitals; and redefining hospital stays, to name a few, we are looking forward to attending the conference and sharing our passion and knowledge of service design within healthcare.
The conference is being held by The Danish Chamber of Commerce, and will focus on architecture, design, health-IT, energy, and public-private cooperation within new hospitals. It is on January 18th 2012. Over the next 10-15 years, a total of 40 billion Danish Kroner will be poured into building and rebuilding hospitals, and the conference will act as a sounding board for what exactly this money should go towards.
