We’ve all been there – there are few things as frustrating as trying to open a vacuum-sealed package which apparently needs a PhD in engineering to get in to. We need user-friendly packaging.
After four years of research, the Danish Technological Institute, together with the Aarhus School of Architecture, launched the User-friendly Packaging project. It’s aim? To create industrial guidelines for user-friendly packaging.
The conference on March 8th will present these guidelines, together with user-insights, a look to the future of packaging, and more. Mikal Hallstrup, Designit’s CVO, will be discussing the design challenges when designing packaging that can be opened with ease, while retaining the security and safety features some packages need.
You can see the programme and register on the Danish Technological Institute site, and read about the project at User-friendly Packaging.
Please note the conference will be held in Danish.
