Designit has created the hardware for a new product family of personal navigation devices in the premium segment for Becker – the German navigation systems manufacturer.
Our strategic approach was centered around the creation of a form language with distinct yet flexible elements. The products’ technical components are placed in logic and ergonomic ways allowing intuitive usage. The results of the design process are simple forms with different surface finishes resulting in a very high quality perception maintaining the content and main function: navigation.
Becker is renowned for their high quality products and recently came out as number 1 in an ADAC test. With our work on the company’s new product portfolio we’re sure they’ll continue delivering technology and design in perfection.
A short time to market was achieved by prioritizing key aspects and a close cooperation with marketing and engineering teams throughout the whole process.
