Bankdata and Designit have been working hard on small banking app project, that is really pretty big! 14 different banks will be launching their mobile banking apps today - each app is customised for each bank, creating a unique look that reflects each bank’s identity.
Together with Bankdata, we’ve been working hard on this neat little banking app project that is actually pretty big.
Today, a total of 14 banks across Denmark will get their own banking app, fresh from the Designit zoo.
Bankdata is owned by a total of 15 Danish banks that are also all their customers. Bankdata is the largest developer of IT services in southern Denmark and provides complete financial IT solutions, maintenance services, and security services – that is, all the IT and technical solutions a bank might need. Bankdata, as well as all the individual banks, are well aware than banking apps are fast becoming a necessity and as a result, the decision was taken to create a generic platform for each and every bank to make use of. The number one priority was ease-of-use, and although generic in its functionality, the banking app was also intended to contain a number of smaller elements that would enable each bank to personalise it, through colours and logos, and so on.
