An insurance app that makes life easy

With similar needs, services and hopes, Topdanmark recently lauched their own personalised insurance app.

Topdanmark is, like Danske Forsikring, a Danish insurance company, and came to us in January 2010 for help with an app. It’s a similar story to Danske Forsikring’s story, which is due to the fact that Topdanmark owns Danske Forsikring, yet the two companies run independently. 

Their concerns were of course the same. They both wanted the customer to be the point around which the app would take shape. The customer should be able to find their way around the app, report accidents, contact the company, send photos and much more, in an extremely simple way. They wanted to be able to interact with their customers in the most efficient manner possible, while retaining all the services available online, or even over the phone. 

The resulting app therefore has the same functionality as that of Danske Forsikring, yet is customised to include Topdanmark’s colours, and logos. Check it out, and be sure to let us know if you have any feedback.

Insurance apps are proving to be very popular. Insurance companies, from home to car, are realising the benefits of being able to immediately record damage on site, report the accident with photos and information, and gather any other information needed (such as the contact and insurance information of any other people involved) in a simple way. 

The app is available now in the App Store, and will soon come to the Android Market.
