The iF Awards strives to serve as a mediating arm between design and industry on an international scale. The awards attract about 2000 entries from 37 nations each year, resulting in tough competition, on a global scale.
AKG, part of Harman International Industries, Inc., is one of the world’s largest players when it comes to sound, whether it be headphones or microphones. This year, we won a packaging award for the AKG Packaging Series, and product design awards for the AKG K550, the K495 NC, and the K490 NC.
It’s great to see the final designs being recognised within design communities, winning no less than 4 awards at the 2012 iF Awards, an award event that has been present on the design scene for more than 50 years.
