Autocom, the leading European producer of vehicle diagnostic systems, asked Designit to develop a new identity for their main product family.
Autocom, based in Sweden, develops top-level diagnostic tools for cars, buses and trucks, and is looking to include more vehicles in the near future. They have been striving towards their vision of providing workshops with a universal diagnostic tool since 1991, and while their business may have expanded to include a wider range of vehicle types, their vision and their passion remain the same.
By understanding Autocom’s history, how their products are used, the environment they are used in, how they are marketed, of course, who their target group are, we are on our way to creating a powerful new identity for, and together with, Autocom.
Throughout the project we have focused on ergonomics and usability. We quickly recognised the importance to take a step back from the underlying technology, and instead focused on the essentials in order to present the identity in a way that painted an honest and accurate picture of the product family, and company.
The new product identity has been launched.
