In 2009 Designit opened an office in London, Europe’s largest urban economy. The city is a financial powerhouse, influencing businesses and markets around the world.

London also has global influence on design, media, entertainment, politics, fashion, culture and the arts. The city’s vibrant and multi-layered design scene makes it a global destination for new ideas and talent. If it’s happening at all, the chances are it’s happening in London.

Designit London is located close to the South Bank, near the Tate Modern and London Bridge. It’s a superb starting point for exploring the city’s creative districts such as Shoreditch, Soho, the East End, Exhibition Road or South Park.

Directions

From the airport
From Heathrow Airport, take the Underground (Piccadilly Line to Green Park, followed by Jubilee Line) to London Bridge Station. The journey takes around an hour and costs €4. A taxi takes around an hour and costs 50€.

From Gatwick Airport, take the train to London Bridge Station. The journey takes around 30 mins and costs €17 for a return. A taxi takes around an hour and costs 90€.

From Stansted Airport, take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street and then the Underground to London Bridge Station. The journey takes around an hour and costs around €30. A taxi takes around an hour and 15 mins and costs 80€.

From London City Airport, take the Docklands Light Railway to Canning Town, and then the Underground to London Bridge Station. The journey takes around 20 mins and costs around €9. A taxi takes around 30 mins and costs 25€.

From London Bridge Station
Exit via the south end of Joiner Street, sign-posted for Guys Hospital. Walk west along St Thomas Street, and then take the first right into Weston Street. The office is just south of Snowsfields. The journey takes around 5 mins.
