Seminar on design-driven innovation

29-06-2009

Designit will present its future hospitals project at a seminar in Norway on how design-driven innovation can create valuable change.

Norwegian Design Council (NDC) will host the event, which aims to show companies and public sector organisations how they can benefit from design-driven innovation.

Aside from showcasing Designit’s work at Odense University Hospital, the event will explain Design Pilot – a new funding initiative for design-driven pilot projects.

Companies and public sector organisations will learn how they can benefit from Design Pilot, which will receive a large part of NDC’s new 10 million kroner government funding package.

Designit’s Tine Park and Kaja Misvær will explain how they applied user-driven design at one of Denmark’s largest hospitals to create a ward that meets the needs of patients, visitors and staff.

NDC’s Skule Storheill will outline Design Pilot and its benefits for companies and public sector organisations.
